Follow this exact startup sequence to ensure Naviware connects seamlessly with your game launcher.
Make sure Epic Games or the Xbox / Microsoft Store app is fully closed. Check your system tray (bottom-right icons) and exit if running.
Right-click Naviware.exe and choose Run as Administrator (click Yes on the Windows UAC prompt).
Enter your License Key in the activation prompt and click ACTIVATE to load your tier settings.
On the Loadout tab, select your Target Prestige, Prestige Logic, Inventory Mode (Default / Fixed / Random Range), and Game Launch preference.
Press the big purple START button on the Dashboard. Wait for the status pill to say Naviware is initialized and ready for game traffic.
Open Epic Games or the Xbox app and start Dead by Daylight (or let Naviware auto-launch it). Naviware applies your profile settings as the game connects!

The first time you open Naviware.exe, Windows SmartScreen or your antivirus may show a warning. This is a false positive and Naviware is completely safe.
Because Naviware connects to our secure service and temporarily configures Windows system proxy settings while running, security software that hasn't seen it before flags it out of caution. Here's how to resolve it:

If Naviware stays red or fails to route game traffic, set your Windows Network Adapter DNS to Automatic (DHCP). If issues persist, open adapter properties and uncheck Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP/IPv6).
Go to the Settings tab inside Naviware and click Unlink This PC. This releases your hardware key so you can activate on a new computer. Note: Unlinking obeys standard cooldown limits.
If your PC crashes or loses internet after using Naviware, open Naviware, go to the Console tab, and click FIX NETWORK. This instantly clears Windows system proxy settings and removes trusted proxy certificates.
